Nicholas Bagwell is a

composer, pianist, and audio engineer located in Raleigh, North Carolina. He studied jazz piano at the University of North Florida and jazz composition and arranging under Chuck Owen at the University of South Florida.

He has written and performed in a variety of genres including jazz ensemble, praise music, musical theater, top 40 dance bands, and children's music.

He has worked extensively as a dialogue editor and mixer for feature films. He has also contributed to the musical score and sound design on “Don't Pass Me By” and “A Long Way Off.” In the summer of 2014 he headed up the location audio team for “Union Bound” - a Civil War set drama from Uptone Pictures.

Through his association with Center Sound Records he has contributed composition, arranging, and audio engineering services for a number of music projects. These include “The Betty Swain Project,” “Run” by Ryan K Hamlin, and “Sing With Max” inspired by the award winning children's books series “Read With Max.”
